What the method adds
A suitable tracer procedure can help investigate a concealed route when other checks leave questions. The system must first be assessed for appropriate isolation and preparation. Detection readings are then interpreted alongside the pipe layout and surrounding construction.
Conditions and limitations
Gas can travel through voids and ground. A surface reading does not guarantee the precise position of a failure.
Useful preparation
Identify connected properties, accessible isolation points and any sensitive operations that depend on the supply.
From result to repair
Equipment readings are considered with the system layout, symptoms and other findings. Where access is justified, the opening and plumbing repair are agreed as part of the instruction. Detection does not remove the need to reach a concealed pipe.
