Prepare the right starting point
Photographs before floors or walls were closed can be valuable. Record changes to heating zones, appliances and pipe routes, together with the first date the symptom appeared.
Agree authority and scope
A leak after renovation does not by itself establish who caused it. The report should distinguish observations from conclusions.
A clear record at the end
The Trace & Access report brings relevant checks, access and plumbing work into one record. Explain any reporting requirements before the visit, and retain the document with the repair details.
